Workshop Reviews
“My expectations have been set so high, I don’t know if anyone else could match them.”
I booked a three-day underwater photography workshop with Shawn in the cenotes, and the entire experience was flawless. Every shot was timed with light rays and customized for the images I dreamed of. I even got incredible portraits of myself as a bonus. Shawn and Arthur planned every frame with intention and grace. It was the best dive experience of my life.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Where will we be staying?
A: You’ll stay in a private oceanfront villa in Cozumel. The boat picks us up right from the beach out front, so it’s as easy as rolling out of bed and straight onto the dive deck. Living together makes it a true workshop environment — we share meals, review photos in the evenings, and learn from each other nonstop.
Q: Do I need to be an advanced diver or photographer to join?
A: Not at all. The workshop is built for both beginners and experienced shooters. If you’re new to underwater photography, you’ll learn solid fundamentals fast. If you’re already experienced, we’ll push your creative limits with advanced lighting and composition techniques.
Q: What gear is included, and what should I bring?
A: Your package includes nitrox and gear rental for diving. For photography, bring your own camera rig (DSLR, mirrorless, or compact system). We’ll also have Kraken gear on hand to demo, so you can try out new tools before investing in them.
Q: What does a typical day look like?
A: Mornings start with a dive (think eagle rays, turtles, and Cozumel’s iconic reefs). Afternoons include another boat dive or a photo review seminar. Evenings are spent back at the villa with group dinners, editing sessions, and workshops on technique, workflow, and storytelling. One night dive is included, focused on fluorescence photography.
Q: How many spots are available?
A: Spaces are limited at 8 spots — we keep the group small to ensure plenty of one-on-one time in and out of the water. This also keeps the vibe fun, relaxed, and personalized.
